About the Role
IBM Consulting is hiring for Infrastructure Specialist – AWS DevOps to join their Client Innovation Center in Hyderabad. In this role, you’ll be part of a team that delivers deep technical expertise and drives innovation across public and private sector clients worldwide. You will help design, build, and manage AWS cloud solutions with a focus on automation, scalability, and performance.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design and build AWS Cloud services following best practices and high-availability models.
- Develop, architect, and implement AWS-based DevOps environments.
- Handle configuration management, systems management tools, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and technical consultants.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- BE/B.Tech, M.Sc. (CS/IT), or MCA with 3–5+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python/Java, AWS, Terraform (IaC).
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Shell scripting.
- Proficiency in Python scripting beyond basic automation.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience using DevOps tools such as Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, SonarQube.
- Knowledge of application servers like JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus.
