Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Networking team is hiring a Sr. Member of Technical Staff to design and develop tooling, automation, and infrastructure for managing a growing fleet of networking devices. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across OCI’s global networking environment.
This position is ideal for engineers passionate about Linux systems, DevOps, networking, and distributed cloud infrastructure.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Develop and automate distributed deployment and monitoring tooling.
- Maintain build/test systems including performance and scalability frameworks.
- Improve efficiency of global deployment processes via automation.
- Participate in on-call rotation for OCI networking fleet monitoring.
- Build runbooks, alerts, and operational tools for incident resolution.
- Collaborate with partner teams to scale OCI networking infrastructure.

📌 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in Linux systems engineering.
- 2+ years’ experience with Python/Bash/Java.
- 2+ years with Terraform/Shepherd.
- 1+ years’ DevOps experience.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and networking.
Preferred:
- Embedded systems or hardware qualification experience.
- Prior cloud infrastructure experience.
- Agile development background.
