Job Description
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced AWS Glue Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Glue, ETL workflows, and data processing for large-scale enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL workflows using AWS Glue components such as Crawlers, Jobs, and Triggers.
- Develop and optimize ETL scripts in PySpark.
- Configure data mapping and transformation using Glue’s visual interface or code editor.
- Process semi-structured data formats like JSON and XML.
- Manage metadata using AWS Glue Data Catalog & Crawler.
- Develop custom transformations using AWS Glue development libraries.
- Plan DPU capacity and manage AWS Glue costs effectively.
- Implement data security and compliance best practices, including encryption and access control.
Must-Have Skills
- AWS Glue expertise
- Strong ETL design and development skills
- PySpark scripting experience
- Metadata management with AWS Glue Data Catalog
