Role: AWS DevOps SME – On-Prem to Cloud Migration
Wipro is looking for a seasoned DevOps expert to lead a major on-prem to AWS cloud migration. This role will drive cloud adoption, containerization, automation, and security best practices across large-scale infrastructure.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Act as AWS DevOps SME for a large migration project
- Design CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Implement EKS/ECS-based container strategies
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Optimize storage using Amazon S3 (versioning, policies)
- Secure configuration using AWS Secrets Manager
- Collaborate with stakeholders for scalable AWS deployments
- Ensure IAM, VPC, and encryption best practices
- Implement GitOps and automated deployment strategies
- Build monitoring/logging using CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.
- Troubleshoot hybrid and cloud deployment issues
- Provide technical mentorship and DevOps documentation
✅ Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps
- Expert in AWS services, EKS, ECS, CI/CD, GitHub Actions
- Strong skills in Terraform, Secrets Manager, S3
- Knowledge of container image management and registries
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and automation tools
- Monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
- Solid understanding of IAM, security, and compliance
🎓 Preferred Certifications
- AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
