🛠️ Responsibilities
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of database infrastructure.
- Optimize and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Work closely with DevOps and Application teams for smooth deployments.
- Provide production support and on-call database incident resolution.
- Automate database provisioning and implement self-service tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system health and capacity planning.
- Document database configurations, performance insights, and procedures.
✅ Requirements
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL in large-scale setups.
- Knowledge of AWS or GCP infrastructure.
- Proficiency with ProxySQL, performance tuning, and monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL internals.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience with Redis/Elasticache, Python scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible for infra automation.
- Knowledge of DevOps and observability best practices.
